Adding Beads to Your Quilts

This class will teach you how to embellish your quilts with beads. It will cover choosing beads that are compatible with your quilt style, the best way to secure the beads and at what stage of the quilt construction process to add them, and how to take care of your beaded quilt.

Supplies needed for this class are minimal—an 8” square of quilting fabric, scissors, a washcloth to keep your beads from escaping, and a snack to keep your energy up (if needed). Sharon will provide beads, thread, needles, and coffee.
